    We were very pleased with the condo. The location is right in the middle of the green belt, so super simply to walk to several beaches. It was very clean and comfortable. The bed was absolutely amazing, so comfortable and great cross breezes for sleeping. Plenty of towels, cooler, beach chairs everything you need.

    This condo exceeded our expectations in every way and made a comfortable base for exploring every part of Kauai! It's an easy 25 minute drive from the airport, less than a 5 minute walk to a beach with good swimming (and easy snorkeling), and centrally located for exploring the south coast beaches (Salt Pond Park and Kekaha Beach were our favorites) and the hiking trails at Waimea Canyon. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and having easy access to laundry in-unit (and beach towels and cooler!) was a huge bonus. Definitely try out some of the great local eats a short drive away -- Koloa Fish Market, The Fresh Shave (shave ice truck in Lawai), and cocktails at Gaylord's.

    What a fantastic stay. Location was great. The condo was very nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans & dishes. Plenty of beach items and towels to use. Overall would highly recommend!

    just a few minor comments to upgrade the service:
    The toaster did not work (would not pop up) and should be replaced.
    I could not turn the lights off in the living room fan (had to unscrew bulbs).
    The bedroom fan was not balanced and made clicking/thumping sound, had to use ear plugs to sleep.
    The patio slider screen was not in place opposite the handle.
    However we absolutely loved the place and look forward to returning!!!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay in this unit. It is very light and airy and has excellent air circulation between the built-in fans and sliding glass doors. (We didn't have any regrets about the lack of AC.)

    We loved the third-floor lanai, which has a view of the nicely landscaped grounds and mountains in the distance. The lanai feels private as you don't overlook any of the nearby neighbors.

    It was a short, pleasant walk to the beach.

    Considering the going prices for condos in the Poipu area, I'd say this one offers excellent value. Would definitely stay there again.

    We enjoyed our stay at Poipu Kai Resort. The condo was quiet and it was fantastic being able to walk to the beach to snorkel. The condo itself was spacious and had great amenities like beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a cooler. Having a washer/dryer helped immensely so that we could keep clothes and wetsuits clean during our stay. The location was very close to Brennicke's, Roy's Eating House and Lambert's Ice Cream. We would definitely like to come back for another stay in the near future.

    To be totally honest, what drew me to this place was another guest review who commented the bed was too firm for them! I have back issues so having a decent bed during our stay was critical for us (the more firm the better). After reviewing the photos and seeing all the positive reviews, we made Kahala 833 our home for two weeks. Clean, stocked, and as advertised!! We were very happy with our stay and would recommend. The lanai was perfect for morning coffee and the breeze kept the unit very cool. The unit is within walking distance to nice restaurants and shops. We also utilized the fitness center, which was a nice amenity.

    This was our 2nd time to Kauai and definitely not our last! Our condo was fully equipped in a perfect location for beach time, shopping plaza (restaurants, coffee etc.) and my husband was especially happy because it was right next to the tennis complex. There was a nice breeze which kept the condo nice and cool and the lanai had a beautiful view of the gardens.
    We can't wait to come back!

    The condo was very nice, spacious, and exceeded our expectations (including my very-picky-husband's). The bedroom was large and the bed comfortable. We ended up putting our 8-month-old in the bedroom and we slept in the living room on the air mattress. There were extra linens and pillows so that was great. There were binders that provided us extra information and recommendations on where to eat and what to see. It was very clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen is FULLY stocked with pots, pans, utensils, a blender, toaster, cooking utensils (even a potato peeler and bottle opener!). There is no air conditioning but with all the windows open, including lanai door, the breeze is amazing. We actually used blankets at night because it got cool. There is a laundry machine with dryer, but they are on the older side and VERY small. So be prepared to do multiple loads if you plan on washing clothes while there. Overall, LOVED this place and would definitely recommend it!

    We enjoyed the spacious, well-equipped one bedroom condo. The garden view from the 3rd floor lanai was like being in the treetops. Easy walk to Poipu beach, and beach gear was included for our use. The kitchen was easy to use and well equipped. We would definitely stay there again.

    We were very pleased with the set up and location of the rental. The furnishings were nice and it was a perfect size for two people. Overall, it fit our needs very well for our stay. And the parking proximity to the unit was excellent. On the negative side, the bed was far too firm for our taste, and although we did not run out of essentials, it would have been nice it the unit was stock more adequately(i.e. dish soap, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc.) I would also recommend a pair of snorkels to go with the beach gear.
